Making money from gaming, or investing into billion dollar market?

Hello guys, I’m back after 4 months. I kinda missed this platform. Todays topic is Metaverse Gaming, which is basically gaming trough blockchain system. And as bonus, we will look at my favorite 2 games where anyone can earn just by playing. Both games are FREE to Play. (And Play to Earn)
Let’s start by repeating some basic information. Nowadays, in videogames you can spend from few cents to thousands of dollars on cosmetic, or better items, such as colorfull gun, or better skills for your character. But there was always catch. When you want to buy something like that into popular videogames, you always buy it trough platforms and markets, like Steam, or Epic Games. For some amount of money, you’ll get new item that you can play with. But the item is still under ownership of the platform/market you bought from. Even if the platform was offering players to trade those items with each other or buy and sell them, the platform was always taking commissions and it was still pixel under their ownership.
That’s most likely the main point of Metaverse Gaming. But don’t stop reading, there is way more stuff that comes with it, and one of the best things is you can earn money on it or even invest in these projects. And I’m not talking about hundreds, or thousands. Just check out first article on google :
So now you know this is a big deal, let’s move on into two of my favorite Metaverse videogames, that I personally play almost everyday and I use it to earn some money on side. I personally didn’t invest more then 10$ in-game, because it wasn’t needed. Both games are FREE TO PLAY
1. Splinterlands
I really, really love this game. The whole system is only based on how powerfull card is and in what combination is it used. In the start, every player goes trough detailed tutorial, so there shouldn’t be any problem with understanding mechanics. This game if 100% FREE to play. 2. Gods Unchained
This is probably not the kind of game you were expecting. Because this is something so amazing. Card game with spells, abilities and amazing community. I’ve played this game videogame basically all evening and I got some good rank. Because it’s Sunday, tommorow new week starts and we can make lot of money from it. Every week, and every weekend there is number of matches that we need to play (25 on weekend, 60 on weekdays) and at the end of some time we can withdraw rewards into our wallets in form of ETH. But the game itself has $GODS token which is used before we transfer it into ETH. $GODS token itself has value more then 6$ in todays date.
